Our state Jharkhand came in to existence on 15th November 2000 numbering 28th state of India, on birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa.
Education is prime need of society. Without education no one can uplift him/herself. Education is a liberating force cutting across the barriers of caste and class, smoothing out inequalities imposed by birth and other circumstances. According to ‘Rousseau’ - “Education is life.” Thus, for meaningful life one should shapeup him/herself with quality education.
But it is not so easy without the help of real educators/teacher. To serve this need of out state, women can play vital role in the process of social transformation.
For this well committed team of educationist under the leadership of Dr. (Mrs.) Shukla Mahanty with the blessing of top policy planners from Govt. of Jharkhand (Ministry of HRD) and Ranchi University, marched ahead for starting the faculty of Education (B.Ed. Programme) with in the norms and standards laid down by the national council for Teacher Education, (NCTE), Govt. of India.
Now, we are in position to start the pre-service teacher training programme (Bachelor of Education) for prospective teachers which is FIRST TIME in the constituent colleges of Jharkhand and Bihar as well.
Finally, actual dream of visionaries would come in to shape only after your ultimate output catering the demand of our society as the Best Teacher of nation and world.
