Jamshedpur Women’s College started as an Inter College and our experience of all these years has taught us that it requires the right dose of sensitivity and firmness to help students make the transition from school to college life. We realize that at this point, students are looking to give shape to their fledgling dreams and to adapt to the new role of independent individuals capable of contributing to society as responsible and responsive citizens. Therefore, we train them to handle liberty with responsibility and to value discipline as the bedrock of success. They are given full freedom to explore their potentials and are also encouraged to be aware of their rights and duties. The College seeks to provide an academic experience which will help students concretize their plans for the future and to face challenges in life with confidence. At the same time the environment in the campus is tuned to fostering understanding and tolerance among the divergent groups of students. |
